NZ Forest Products Haulage has the entire transport solution for the New Zealand lumber industry from the skid to the timber yard.

Right from the skid site we have you covered with a modern fleet of 8 wheeler trucks with 5 axle trailers and 6 axle B train solutions maximising the utility of our container export fleet.

Our units can carry 30 ton product payload New Zealand wide predominantly working for our Albany Auckland export packing facility.

Container Haulage

NZFP Container Transport have swing lift units that carry 20 and 40 foot shipping containers Directly to your Door. NZFP Group Container Transport division has over 20 years  of experience in container solutions and handling. We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding service and options across our supply chain solutions team. NZFP Group Container Transport is nationally based throughout New Zealand. We operate a large modern fleet made up of predominantly 4 axle trailers and 6X4 and 8X4 prime movers. 

Our scale means maximum efficiency and reasonable costs, plus the flexibility to reprioritise workloads at very short notice to accommodate customers’ changing and often urgent demands.

NZFP Container Transport has excellent relationships with Ports of Whangarei Ports of Auckland and Ports of Tauranga, and with shipping lines such as Maersk, Hamburg Sud COSCO Lines MSC and many others.  

NZFP Container Transport has a skilled team of drivers and operators with experience in transporting thousands of containers and proactively managing potential problems as they arise. NZFP Container Transport has dedicated container dispatchers providing efficient, managed flow of containers to and from their destinations be it the port your premises or the empty’s yard. Currently in Auckland alone, NZFP Group move more than 860 containers in the region per month plus a further 200 line-haul movements from POAL or Ports of Tauranga.

Line Haul FTL Transport Solutions

NZFP Group has a long association with the rural communities of New Zealand employing Drivers and operators right throughout the country.

We specialise in providing Full Truck Load solutions to the Dairy, Kiwi, Avocado Stone fruits consumer goods and of course from where we started. The New Zealand Forestry Lumber and Timber Industry.

Our Fleet of well-appointed 6 axle B Trains and 8 axle Truck with 5 axle trailers have a solution for every load combination carted on the New Zealand road network.

Our Units have the capacity to carry a 30 ton load in most instances or on permits in excess of that as may be required.

Currently in NZFP Group move more than 24,000 tons of product per month plus a further 200 linehaul container movements from POAL or Ports of Tauranga.

Container Packing

At NZ Forest Products Group we specialise in containerisation generally utilising utility grade 40ft and 40ft HQ containers predominantly exported to China, India, Shri Lanka and South Korea.

Containerisation of logs is an ideal way to get shipping companies containers back to more central shipping hubs thus generally enabling us to utilise this at a minimum shipping cost  compared to other export products.

We are also able to use utility grade containers, and with mainly food product being exported out of NZ  it alleviates the glut of this type of containers being in the empty yards or having to be free loaded back on to the ships.

Our packing facility is capable of processing over 200 40ft containers per week and has currently 35% of available space available.

We run the most sophisticated packing facility in NZ for both log product and finished timber product.
